The USAP Clothing Distribution Center (CDC)

The United States Antarctic Program Clothing Distribution Center is the hub of U.S. Antarctic Program deployment preparation in Christchurch, New Zealand. This is where it all comes together for science and support personnel heading to Antarctica through Christchurch. Everything from the issuing of Extreme Cold Weather (ECW) clothing to flight preparation for boarding the U.S. Air Force C-17s headed to the U.S. Antarctic base McMurdo Station happens here.
